I came across this bug in my World of Tanks Garage

Last week I left a game and this bug appeared in my garage.  I was not able to zoom into my tank as one normally could does,  When I was in the garage I was in the rafters.  It was as if Wargaming told me I was going to be a bat.  When I scrolled my mouse it just put me in different positions within the rafters.

Now the strangest thing about this bug was when I scrolled out I was outside of the garage.  Wargaming has been lying to us.  Some of you might say that Wargaming is lying to us is not news.  And maybe lying is too harsh a word, but they certainly have been deceiving us.  When one is in the garage and one looks out the windows.  It appears it is winter outside, pine trees all about.  No I tell you, it is a barren waste land out there.  There is nothing but strange patterns on the ground.  I think when you hear that person dropping the wrench in the garage, he opened the door and found out what the outside world really looks like.  It is something out of the Twilight Light Zone.

Not a Good Idea for a Tog

My Marder 38T Driver took driving lessons from Joie Chitwood

All you fellows that are of a certain age will remember ABC's Wide World of Sports.

Well one of the people that were on Wide World of Sports was Joie Chitwood.  He drove cars on the edge so to speak.

I was driving my Marder 38T and I was trying to avoid the victory circle,  I was struck that it looked a lot like Joie Chitwood driving.

A funny thing happened in my TOG or OUCH

I have had my TOG only for a day and Jingles is right.  The TOG is a lot of fun, but it is not a very good tank,.  Though I am having a blast playing it.  One of the first games today and I was on Westfield.  Advancing as one would do if they are attacking and not being a pot-licking camper..

A Lee, a tank that is just the opposite of the TOG (it is unpleasant),  crests the hill.

He takes a couple of shots and they bounce, he must be thinking, "Maybe if I move and get a different angle my shots will penetrate."

The Lee must be very frustrated now with all the bounced shots.  He must be thinking, "What can I do to damage this TOG?"  A brilliant idea flashes before his very eyes.

The Lee driver just has to build up a little speed.

Well maybe he should have thought this one out a little bit better.

World Of Tanks Match Maker IS broken.

     I am not going to start this post whining about this or that with WOT match-making (MM) enough of that goes on in matches.  I do think that World of Tanks match making has some definite issues.  I  want to state that I am not a programer nor do I want to be, just the thought of that as a job makes my eyes water and my skin itch.

     I played a game recently and the opposing team had 13 tier X tanks or artillery.  They also had one tier VII tank and a tier VI scout.

    Our team  had 11 tier X tanks or artillery.  We also had 3 tier VII  tanks and one tier VI scout.

     Now I am going to rant a little bit about  the match maker.  My first question is, Was it national tier IX day off?  WOT MM could not have found some tier IXs?  I guess they keep important information like that from the tier VIIs,   I am sure the tier  IXs  are saying, "it is so fun to see the tier VIIs disappointed faces when they see all the tier Xs."   In all seriousness I am going to state this again, WOT MM could not find any tier IXs?  I know MM has come along way.  I know when I was first playing world of tanks, the MM was worse.  I just want it to get even better.

     Is this going to stop me from playing WOT, no.  Does it make certain matches less than enjoyable, yes it does.

World of Tanks Fail Team

I was playing this game on a wireless keyboard.  The batteries failed at the beginning of an assault game on Siegfried Line and I was defending.  As a side note, never trust a wireless keyboard.  I have taken care of that keyboard, it is now singing with the choir invisible.   So back to the main thrust of this story, I can only move my turret and fire my gun.  I am basically a pillbox sitting in the middle of the spawn point.  So here is the end plate, to be fair the the players on my team that scored higher did what they could, however there are many people on my team that were not so good.  It is sad that I got the third  highest score and I could not move an inch

Sometimes I hate this game.

World of Tanks Leichttraktor

First of all I like this game and I play it way too much.  A friend of mine describes it as a TSA(Time Sucking Abyss), I think that is an apt description.  The only thing wrong with that description, is that it also so darn fun to play.  Here are a couple of end plates of a game I played with my Leichttraktor.  I have a lot of fun going back and playing  a tier I game and one can make a ton of credits too.  I was very pleased with this game.
